A dedicated practitioner of Jiu-Jitsu, Joe has been coaching Ohana's children's program alongside Chris since 2004. Joe brings a very patient approach to his teaching and has been instrumental in Ohana securing numerous kid's Jiu-Jitsu tournament victories.

A certified personal fitness trainer and rehabilitation specialist, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Matt is the owner and head trainer of Professional Fitness Consultants located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. PFC is the areas premier personal training facility specializing in weight loss, rehabilitation and improved sports performance.

A native of Brazil, Charuto began his Jiu-Jitsu training with team Nova Uniao under founder Andre Pederneiras. Charuto was awarded his BJJ Black Belt in 1996 after winning the Brasiliero (Brazilian National Championship) Brown Belt division. As a Black Belt, he has won Silver and Bronze medals at the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships in Brazil, a Silver medal at the Pan Americans of Jiu-Jitsu and was a semifinalist at the prestigious ADCC Submission Grappling Championships. Charuto is best known for his impressive UFC fights against champions Carlos Newton and Matt Hughes where he showcased his highly technical Jiu-Jitsu game. Charuto is the training partner/coach of Jiu-Jitsu World Champion BJ Penn and serves as the head Jiu-Jitsu Instructor at BJ Penn's Academy in Hilo, Hawaii. Supervising Ohana's Jiu-Jitsu program, Charuto travels to Ohana updating our program and sharing his technical Jiu-Jitsu game.
