Chris Lund began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1993 and is among the first wave of Americans to study the art. He began his formal training with the legendary Gracie family at the "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Honolulu" under the direct teaching of Relson Gracie. Following 16 years of dedicated training, Chris was awarded his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in 2009 by Charuto Verissimo.

Chris' training roots are in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and the Filipino Martial Arts which he began training in 1990. In addition to a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Chris also holds teaching credentials in both Jeet Kune Do (Striking Arts) and Filipino Kali (Stick & Knife Fighting) through world renowned JKD instructor, Burton Richardson. |

Chris has been teaching Martial Arts full time since 2001. On the mat he shares the arts in a patient and technical fashion; his teaching follows an artistic approach with an emphasis on the technical side. You can expect Chris' classes to always be welcoming with the atmosphere always laidback. |
