Ohana Martial Arts Training Etiquette
Guildlines for maintaining a safe and respectful training environment.
1. Leave the ego at the door; we are all here to learn and improve
2. Be considerate and respectful to all your training partners
3. Reckless and emotional training is not welcome at Ohana
4. Don't try to drown the person who taught you how to swim
5. Instructors are here to help you; show them the same respect they show you
6. No profanity or inappropriate conversation in the Academy
7. Respect the Academy; remove your shoes at entry, and clean up after yourself
8. All students required to wear Academy shirt to Striking class
9. All students required to wear clean and complete training Kimono to GI class
10. Always practice personal hygene and wear clean training gear
11. Never forget how nervous you felt on your first day, introduce yourself to new students
12. Most importantly, train smart, have fun, and enjoy the journey
